what companies did you hold stock in? I looked up 10-15 stocks i usually check out to see what they're doing and they all went down 1.5-5%.
lock any 2nd floor windows in case you have the urge to jump out of them.

Majority is with the "International" markets. I have made a killing over the last few years and it has still been the place to be with investments. China is a real driver in the world market and they have the ability to shake things up, which they did today. It was no surprise that the U.S. market took a dump after reading what was going on with the Chinese. A country with over a billion people do have a say so... When things are good, they are good, but I figured it would have taken a major terrorist attack overseas to make what happen today to actually happen. Oh well, win some days, lose the others....

My stocks are for the long haul, so I didn't check today, but I heard about the fall.

We have tons of investments/business in China, so it's no surprize to me that we felt the effects like we did over here. I bet I got a few unhappy friends up in NY right about now.

I wish I would have moved my money to the "long haul" area yesterday. But then again, if I would have had the insight to do that, I would not be here talking about it, I'd be on Wall Street makin the big bucks...
