I had 224.1 hours on my stock 04 valves. I built the motor this winter and replaced with super tech valves

I repaired two skis with dropped valves, a 2004 with 120 hours, and a 2005 with 75 hours. Both were fresh water skis.

it comes down to maintence... fresh water skis it really isnt an issue.. myself and many friends have worked at marinas up here and we havnt seen any come in for valves going... yes it can happen but havnt seen any. if you properly service your ski and fog it when it sits for a period of time id say your ok but... it can happen

Every issue I've heard of is from ski's that weren't properly fogged, and sat for several months. The problem is the moisture from the exhaust system causes the stems to corrode if their not fogged-protected.

I've personally run them for 200+ hours before without a single issue. My ski's don't sit for more than a week without at least being started for 30 seconds or so.
