2012 RXP X rpm jumping and loss of power

I just took the rxp x(23 hours) out of storage and put it in the lake. Ran perfect before storing it and started it every other week. Now it is jumping rpm and the boost seems a little erratic.

Sucks cause my warranty ended last month. Supercharger failure at 23 hours???

    thanks

What where your top rpms. Might be bad fuel or spark plugs... common. A Sc failure would top your rpms to 6500-6700 max and no ups and downs.

It was spiking over 6700 rpm, but not by much. It was sitting sine late November in the garage. The power is bouncing around, I have it in the lake in the back of my house, I just don't want to damage it further. I can here the supercharger whine at startup. I may change the plugs, can't hurt.

    Thanks again

Do all the simple things first.... fresh gas, plugs, check SC slip, etc. If the engine was fogged.... you probably have a fouled plug.

If that doesn't clear things up..... I'm guessing you have a blown IC. The coolers in these new ski's are absolute garbage!

Are you riding in salt water???

I was messing with it on the dock, no fault codes. It does seem to be smoking a little more than I like. Also, the maint sign on the cluster stayed on for a couple of seconds then turned off.

Also some salt water, but always brought back to the lake and ridden after. At 23 hours its just BS to have issues, especially being so well maintained, not happy.

    Thanks

The maintenance alarm comes on every 25 hours as a reminder to change the oil & filter.

It has to be re-set with BUDS or Can-Doo

I changed the plugs and put fresh gas, same. It did get a little more rpm. Maybe the supercharger is slipping?

    Thanks
