    X Charger on 05 RXP

Whats up everybody.... I decided to upgrade to an X-Charger rather than rebuild my stock charger. Everything else on the ski is stock besides my new Riva seat cover. My question is regarding what my top speed should be around. When I hit it she accelerates like a rocket right to 8150 rpms and holds steady at 64 mph roughly (Hit 65 for a split second) and that is on water smooth as glass. The reason im asking is because with my stock charger I was hitting 67 - 68 mph at WOT. Is there something wrong? I know if I change anything else I will need 42 lb/hr injectors first. Thank you in advance for any answers or help you may be able to provide.

Your gonna blow that thing up before you even get a chance to install those 42# injectors.

You just added 3 lbs. of boost.... with no added fueling, or prop to support it!

I appreciate the concern but from my understanding and weeks of research as long as everything else on the ski is stock I should be fine. I hope

You obviously didn't spend enough time doing your research. You can't just toss an 3 extra pounds of boost on an already lean up top engine without adding more fuel, and prop.

    You definitely need the injectors.

I will order the injectors and install them asap but my question is about mph - anyone know where should it be roughly?

    JQuattro,

Without a taller prop your highs will be.... "8150 rpms and holds steady at 64 mph roughly".

WHEN you add injectors and a prop you should pick up another MPH or 2..your down on speed right now because you are running to lean, also your prop is holding you back a tad, youll need to either repitch your stock prop or get a 14/19...BUT most of your speed loss is do to not having enough fuel....As the others have stated...DO NOT run that ski anymore until you get 42s in there..Not unless you want to rebuild a motor...

I have a Gen 2 wheel in my rxp. I was thinking of going to an X charger also. How much more boost is created by the X charger over the Gen2 wheel. I think im at 9 or 9.5 pounds right now
