Cleaning after being out on water

After I get my jetski out of the water should I take it to the car wash and spray it down with mothers wash and wax and also spray my life jackets (obviously don't put the wash and wax on them) down just to get all the dirty water and everything else off? What do you guys do after taking your ski off the water?

I got lazy and hadn't gave my old ski a good cleaning in almost a year and it was covered in baked on water spots from the Arizona sun. I discovered this stuff and with just a spray and a wipe...*poof*...they disappeared....even off the rearview mirror glass. I'm looking forward to eventually trying some of their other products too.

Ha! Nice! I recently ordered and just received some 303 aerospace protectant that was recommended from several members here too. Supposed to be really great stuff and you can use it on the seat.
