2001 xl 1200 temp sensors going off

just rebuilt top end on ski, rebuilt carbs, new exhaust pipe OEM, You ride the ski for 45 minutes and the temp sensors and warning lites go off on the ski. Didnt know if anyone else ran into a problem like this? and what the cause would be. all the water lines were free from blockage and no restrictions. pisser flows good water.

Make sure it is not actually running hot. Does it have a D plate and chip. If so was the cat whole when it was removed if not did you make sure a piece isn't causing a restriction in the exhaust.
