    VTECH for 15f

Flash for the 15f coming to a dealer soon, I will be testing one soon on my own 15f, just to run it safe up to 98 oct Aussie fuel and see how it feels back to back with the stock one.

I'll be surprised if there is any gain. A tune for cams would be sweet though.

12f and 15f tunes are beta testing this weekend here in Melbourne, rain hail or shine!!!

These will be available through your VTECH dealers and GREENHULK via the online store!!! Jerry will release the info once the product has been tried and tested....
Be sure to keep your eyes out for when its released here!

So far items that can be edited:
    RPM limiter
    Fueling tables
    Timing advance, fuel injector angle

    Another win for VTECH tuning!

Waiting for winterstick to take it out.

First test is fuel and rpm control, next will be timing.

I need to be at home for a bit so I can test it, and again im out tomorrow with medical crap.
I will fit the ecu but not hook it up yet
then I will fill up with fresh 98 bp, the 98 is there so it will be the same fuel for the next stage of testing
warm it up and test with stock ecu, with a gps.
pull the seat and plug the modded one in and do the same
Ski currently is stock with only an aftermarket flame arrestor and a new Solas 14/21.

can you record an accelleration comparison also. Being a racer yourself you know that is more important to some than just top speed.

me race, nah, should have when i wore younger mans clothes.
I too don't give two hoots about top speed, leave that up to the others
without some sort of proper measuring it would be hard to tell.
I would also have liked to test it with my 13/19 but it needs welding

So i fitted it any way and went for a run didn't feel much different to me. it actually felt softer down low, then out for another ride with my cousin, me on my his and him on mine, in the no wake zone, i said to him yours feel pokier and he agreed, but when we hit the open water we had a small drag race and he on my ski shot way out by about 3 lengths and further on walked slowly away, we swapped back and results the same.
we were both convinced that his was quicker up until this test, but back to back might give us a better comparison. extra fuel should slow me down if what we know about how well the stock tune is, but we'll see

I am aslo curious if the ski was logged with the tune installed? Was there a rise in oil temps or anything else that we will need to know about it that needs to be modified with the install of this tune. We all know that some tunes are safe with a stock ski and others require modifications. This is just information for the consumer and a question I was asked about this tune. I have someone that is building a stock class 15F to compete against the VXR in CC and these are concerns he has. He is interested in the performance gains relative to his interest. He can only do certain modifications to his ski to stay legal and his interest is not in only top speed.

    Any more information on this.
Will it also work on the Ultra LX? The NA model?
