    Nozzle help

Looking for a 83mm nozzle for my 09px. Any other skis come stock with that MM that will fit my ski?

If you're considering modifications later, stay away from the 83mm on an x model. It will cause stuffing issues in the mid-high 70's.
Stay with the 87, change the intake grate and run a 15/22r (elevation dependent).

The rxp line has an 83mm that will fit.
A 2009 rxp 83 would bolt right up.
Be careful if you go this route!

i got to agree with mothman on the stuffing issue. being stuffed at 75 MPH on a jetski would really suck/hurt. im assuming your trying to get less RPM or more Top end by doing the nozzle swap. Just re-pitch your prop if your on the limiter and maybe look into a ride-plate for a few extra MPHs as alternatives to a nozzle swap.

i remember reading a thread and a guy said the first time he got stuffed on his RXP-X he turned around and sold it. I can only imagine how bad that had to be for him to do that lol.

My plans are a r&d intake grate, and a 15/20R solas prop. And a 83mm nozzle. Think I should be okay?

    No.
The x models have a larger pump tunnel, which is why their hole shot is strong. Tunnel pressures are muuuuch higher (at speed) than rxp's, resulting in very bad, very painful stuffing situations.
You probably won't feel the tail lift until it noses down... then it's too late.

If you're dead set on an 83, install two pressure relief valves for insurance, because without them it WILL buck you off mid-high 70's.
