Where Can I Buy K&N Mesh Marine Air Filters?
I'm looking for a K&N Marine style Air filter the mesh screen type without the cotton media. I would need one with a 3" or 4" rubber flange on the end. Ive looked all over but can't come up with anything. All the ones on K&N's website are 2.75" flanges. Thanks for any info...

Got mine at Auto Zone...about $40 for 4 inch. Stainless steel mesh.

Autozone, it makes for a cheap mod. I just turned the sc hose up and clamped it on.
I need a better hose though. I've been to siliconehose.com and can't find exactly what I need.

I used a metal mesh/oiled cotton fiber filter, but that style has been frowned upon...not sure why, but now I'm looking to either make or find something different. How about foam? check www.cardomain.com/item/TRF90204 ...it's wire mesh with foam. Im thinking about taking out the foam and covering the wider gague mesh with a layer of finer gague mesh.

Thanks For all the replys
That filter on cardomain would be perfect if you take the foam out and just add a K&N Pre-Filter Sock over the top. Are you gonna get on of the nippon filters? They are pricey but very nice.

You read my mind...not sure between the prefilter with the "cardomain" shell or the stainless steel of "nipponpower" yet. Pro of prefilter setup would be water repellency, but we really don't get water in our engine compartments. Not sure which will flow better. Stainless steel might flow better and be better at resisting heat.

rideallday - check e-bay with a search for " 4" silicone elbow" and I think you will find what you are looking for. I found these there. I was using a 3" into 4" silicone elbow, but now with the 4" billet adapter, will use an untapered 4" elbow.
