'99 XL1200 Engine help
I "inherited" a '99 XL200 from my uncle a few years back and its basically been sitting in my garage. Something happened to the engine when he last rode it and pulled the head off to see what was wrong with it. And that how its been sitting since then.
I was looking at the cylinders and noticed it looked like he never properly flushed it out and the water passages are corroded a little bit.
My question is how bad is this? Hopefully it doesn't look I'll have to trash them. How would you "clean" these cylinders?
I'm just trying to figure out what I'll need to do to rebuild this boat into a reliable ski again lol.
Any help will be appreciated lol

How do the cylinder walls look/feel?

I would have the jugs hot tanked and the cooling passages media blasted.
