    Need help.. wet with grey fluid on threads.

    I need some help. I tried to adjust the oil pump on my 1998 gtxl (951 grey motor)
    and some didnt know what mark to go my on the injection pump wheel.
    I think i rad it with a low oil setting then a high oil setting and now i think thats set.
    Tried to sync carbs but not sure if that set right and now when it runs it sounds rough when it runs and its leaving a grey fluid on the threads.
    low speed screws are set at 2 and it doesnt make a sound any better or different if its at 1 1/4 setting.

    if anyone can please help me out im stuck.

    picture? Iy sounds like not enough oil flow and its eating the cylinders up imo, check the compression now....i bet its lower than it was before.

    Premix the fuel.
    You will know exactly how much is there every time.
    All it takes is a oil line to POP off or a oil pump to malfunction and there goes the motor.
    Its too easy to premix and rip on....

    New issue.. Can't figure out why it's running so rough.

    So I took it to the water and my oil setting from my knowledge looks to be fine.. But before I messed around with it, it was sounding smoother now it's just making a heap of different sounds.
    sound like there's not enough oil(but its on the mark) sounds like the pistons are not in sync.(but sync the carbs by backing off idle so theres no push on throttle and adjusted the connecting rod at both closed setting.)
    the mixtures for the screws are lows 1 and a half and the high mag is at 0 and pto is at 1/4.
    rebuilt carbs clean raves and new lines and it was running like a gem before but stupid me thought the oil was set wrong.
    and because I had a after market throttle lever I noticed the carb didn't open fully so I put the old pne back and set it up again with the 1/4" slack and redid the oil again.
    Now it ran and had heavy bog at 3-5 thousand rpm and then just died on the water.
    The plugs are black on the end but brownish black on the ceramic and dry
