    Hotseat Trim Cable

I can't find the thread someone had a while back about a replacement Hotseat trim cable..was there ever an answer?? What did HS use to make their cable? I'm guessing since they are red, it would have to come from a Yamaha?

Hmm, I found this cable that might work from a Yamaha Superjet trim system:

On my 785 , used a old polaris steering cable from any 2 seater ( correct length) Cut off the factory ends , and remove the cable. Go to sears hardware and buy new cable and they have the fittings you need there too. Cost about 20.00 for everything and takes about 1 hour to do. Hey, good luck this weekend !!

found the ends in the bolt\ nuts area . On the rear used a fitting that was threaded and had a area that you could solder the cable into . On the handle part, found a solid brass tube that was same size hole in handle. Drilled a hole and soldered it on. Now that I know ( Thanks Bob !!) , that John Ziegler can get them, will order a couple too.
