Has anyone paid for a clutch change at the dealer?

If so, how much labor did they charge.....My clutch is close to going and I do Heat and A/C so I won't have time to do it, plus I got to do some weekends to pay back some obligations....

I'm sure its ugly. Fairly labor intensive. Don't want to do it yourself?

Read the sticky about how to do it and save a ton of money. I did mine and it's much harder on mine since my SHO motor is in a GPR hull.

Would be so much easier to do in your hull. I wouldn't trust a dealership. When I called the dealer here they didn't even know what I was talking about.

I wouldnt trust the dealer either. Ive done 2 clutch swaps now. Once when my 2009 went and I jumped to the 2011. Then after seeing the teeth mishap with the 2011 I pulled that heffer out before it exploded and went with the 2013 clutch/idler.

Just take your time and have some patience scraping the old oil pump gasket off the block.
