What is the running temp of a 4-tec 260 hp engine supposed to be

My 2012 150 speedster 260 hp shows the engine temp as 187 degrees celcius. This is 368.6 fahrenheit. Do they really run this hot ?

    Thanks

Should be fahrenheit....Something might be wrong with your guage, take it back to the dealer and have them check it out...No motor will last at them temperatures...Also if it was running that hot you would know it,there would be no power....

Agreed. 187 sounds about right in F.

Maybe it was in F. I did not look closely at wether it was C or F, but assumed that since the speed was in km/hr that the temperature would be in C. Maybe you can set them independently of each other to either imperial or metric, but I thought everything would be metric or everything would be imperial.

    Thanks

185-190 is about right. Fahrenheit wise!

With a 185 degree thermostat it will run 180 - 197 degrees from my experience.

    Around 190 f
But I have seen some skis with an after market 160-165f.

Your speed can be adjusted to read both km or miles.
    Temp is only Fahrenheit.
I think its because almost all doos get sold in the USA first..

    Rip on.
