Using existing oil injectors for fuel primer injectors instead?

I'm installing rebuild kits for all 3 carbs on my '02 66v pv 1200. I also just did an oil blockoff for switching to premix.

I can't find the old post I read a while back by OSB, but I believe he suggested using the old oil injectors to each carb as the fuel injectors for the primers instead of the brass nipples supplied with the primer kit...and just fillng/plugging the choke shaft holes with JB Weld.

Has anyone opted for using the old oil injectors on each carb for the fuel primer injectors instead (for those with oil pump blockoff)?
Suggested pros and/or cons? Or no matter?
I'm leaning towards just using the old oil injectors to keep it simple and practical...but wanted to make sure I'm not overlooking a potential issue.

That would work fine. Also if you are bypassing your accelerator pumps, you could use those also.

Thanks for the feedback. I did remove the accelerator pump & plumbing and installed the plate replacement. I may opt for your suggestion to use those two injectors from the old accel pump to #1 & #3 & the oil injector for #2.
