    premix gp1200r

    hey guys i was just wondering whats a good ratio to run when since my gp1200r is converted to premix

    40:1 / 50:1 is safe too.
    Seen some even 32:1 - I personally use 40:1 myself. Seems to be the best around here from what I've read.

    Btw I'd switch to a higher quality oil that does not gum up the power valves.

    Dude,
    I've been wondering is this statement a matter of opinion? I often ask various local marine and motorsport shops about oil on my delivery route. They say Yamalube is a must??, plus that's all they sell. I have personally listened to all your suggestions and have gone with Klotz.

    Thought Yamalube was best if the cat is still installed ? So bad for the valves good for the cat ?
