Need help finding a Stainless Steel Pump extension for a 99 SLX

I guess you've already seen my thread concerning the frozen impeller. Seems as though we've determined that a new pump extension is needed now. Because of the salt water use this ski is getting I guess I need to find this guy a stainless steel extension instead of an aluminum one, or an aluminum one with a stainless liner. Needs to be completely stainless. Would you guys agree? Who makes the full stainless ones or does anybody know of anybody or any places that might have a used solid stainless steel extension.

Also, is there an OEM part number for a completely stainless extension?

    Thanks
    Bill

The stock ones are all aluminum with a stainless liner. What happens is that corrosion gets between the two, causing the inner liner to swell, and pinch the impeller. The best thing to do is not to keep it in salt water.

Got that. Only problem is it's not kept in the water, it's just used in the salt water and then put back on the trailer. Some have said that there are solid Stainless Steel ones out there. Don't know if they are OEM or aftermarket but I was hoping to get a line on a solid stainless one. Hate to see the same problem pop up again, especially on a ski that is getting harder and harder to get parts for. Thought about adding a sacrificial anode to the ski as well.

There should have been a sacrificial anode puck already on the jet pump base. If it is missing or eaten away, replace with a new one.

The SS extended wear ring is a Polaris part, was stock on some models, I think.
Looks like the Stainless Steel (SS) extension ring (wear ring) is part number 5134562

PartsPitStop has a price of $141
    $144.50 as of today

Is that right? $144.50 for a solid SS the pump extension? Not the aluminum extension with the stainless wear ring pressed in side right?
    Thanks
