    Thumbs up

they would be best on ANY seadoo supercharger....to be honest no mechanic would ever be able to tell the difference unless they took the washers off and tried to shatter them....even then, they probably wouldn't know. however, you get the metal washers, and there will be no reason to take the washers off because they won't be broken to begin with.

just like Seancucf said there not gona ask about them so dont tell them unless the problem relates directley with the washers which wouldnt happen. Metal washers are a must for all sc engines modded or stock.

what happens if not properly torqued to 22ft lb? will the shaft break? causing even more extended dammage?

If to tight could snap the shaft, if to loose then it will slip.

too tight all the washer will burn and scratch, too loose will splip, best accurate torque with dial type. 22 ft lb is perfect for the clutch.

Heres the question? When you put the steel washers in how can you make them too tight. The nut bottoms out. And you tighten the nut to 30 nm's.The slip is pretty close to spec. You might get a wrong reading because of the isoflex greese on the washers. To me. The only way it could be to tight is if their are shims on the spring washers. I just rebuild my SC everything new. And my specs are pretty close. Do I stand correct ?

I to just did my washers and am a mechanical engineer. When I reviewed the setup the nut bottoms out on the sholder. Over torqueing places stress on the transition of the threaded shaft to the stright section of shaft the bellville washers ride on. The only variation you will get is the slight additional turn you get as you drive the nut down overtight. Not enough to effect the spring pack values. Adding the shim washer will bring it up.....I was over 160 lbin when complete. Will need to go easy till it breaks in a bit.........
