    Leaded Fuel OK?

It's getting difficult to find 93 octane around here, anymore. I can get leaded 110 octane race gas fairly cheap, though. I'm thinking about mixing 1 gallon of leaded race gas with 4 gallons of 92 unleaded. That should put it in the 94 to 95 octane range. I pre-mix with Amsoil Dominator and have a D-plate. Is there any issue running leaded fuel that I should know?

I would think it would be fine, the lead may even lube those powervalves some.

God, I wish I could find 110 cheap. It's $6 a gallon at the dragstrip every time I go.

Since the Cat is gone, I do not see any issues. You will actually make more hp with leaded fuel.

I used to run 101 AV gas in my triple. Its a low lead fuel.Ran great. The lead helps lube but it burns hot! At least thats what i learned from a pilot at the airport.

There's a gas station near a local race track that sells leaded 110 out of the pump. Last summer, it was $4.25/gal.

On an EFI setup if there are any sensors in the exhaust you might not want to run the leaded fuel. It will burn up those sensors. It will also burn up the injectors.

Anyways, on a carb setup I don't think it would be an issue.
