1997 polaris slt 700, Engine missing and plug fouling

Hello, I have a slt 700 that keeps fouling the mag side sparkplug, and also seems to be missing on acceleration, It will clear up after awhile of playing with the throttle position and it will run ok for awhile until the plug fouls again, Change the plug and it runs ok again for awhile, It also wont idle on both cylinders, if i pump the throttle to make the accelerator pump spray it will run on both cylinders for a few second but will cut out to one again. I have tried rebuilding both carbs and cleaning them about 5 times with no difference.PLEASE help i am about to burn this thing!!!

Did you use OEM carb rebuild kits?

Checked the internal arm height on each carb?

Hose connections on each carb are correct?

What spark plugs are you using?

I used winderosa rebuild kits, its all I could find in my area, The polaris dealers around here are of no help at all, cant get sheit for parts. As for the arm, no i didn't even think to check that, hose connections are right as far as I know? And I am running br8es plugs, that's what was in it when I got it.

Anyone? Still having problems, on the trailer it acts like it is hitting a rev limiter, on the water it is lacking power, kinda seems like it is cutting in and out.

If it has a current Polaris part number, a dealer can get it. I dont know whats up with your dealers.

My Polaris dealer can't order watercraft parts as they never held a watercraft license........

Your ski calls for BPR7ES. The P is for projected tip so the electrode is raised above the threads. On the BR8ES the electrode is even with the threads. This may not be whats wrong but I like to make sure all the "little" things are right before trying to fix something bigger.

I have a 98 SLTH 700 and mine calls for BPR8ES. I don't know why yours calls for a step hotter #7 for the heat range. I thought the 700's were the same.

Also Always, Always set the gap. I bought a 10 pack of NGK BPR8ES and they were all over the place from .019-.036

Anyway here is a thread that spells out the differences better then I can.
