Loose hood 2012 rxp-260
I am not entirely satisfied with the fit of the fiberglass panels on my 2012 Rxp-x but it seems like the hood has some side to side play. Cant remember this looseness from last season. Checked the bolts and hinges and everything seems tight. Anybody else have this issue?

Noticing the same thing -- excessive side to side play. Anyone else have this issue?

I ran into hood issues the moment I first took mine out. The hood and its latches are junk. So much so that I ended up cracking the tabs where the hood bolts to the hinge/arm. This happened because how loosely the hood latches and the fact that I was jumping pretty high on that day. The hood un-latched, flipped open and over extended after landing a big wave jump.
The next day I made these brackets to offer stronger support and to eliminate it from even happening again. The other thing I did to help the hood stay in place, I glued 4 pieces of hydroturf in the rear corners (two on hood, two on hull). Now when I close the hood, you need to push on it. It hasn't eliminated 100% of the side-to-side but haven't had any issues since.
