    Louisiana Trailer Law

The old adage is true: You learn something new everyday.. Today I learned that LA requires inspection stickers on all trailers using our roads. Not just boat/pwc, but all trailers (utility, flatbeds, ...). Maybe a law long ignored, but I'm curious why I never received one when I purchase my trailer new? Perhaps not even the dealers are aware of the code...?

This is going to be a huge PITA. Most of our local places don't have near enough room for navigating around w/ a larger boat trailer. Not bad for a PWC, but boats ???

    NFW!
That seems like something they would do in California.

Hey Bruce, that's what I too alluded to w/my purchase. Fact: Any brand new vehicle I've ever purchased came with a very recently mounted inspection sticker. Now, did I get the vehicle inspection sticker as an "added service" or because "it's the law". I honestly don't know... but if I got it b/c it's the law, and LA has a Trailer Inspection Sticker Law, why would I have not got that on the new trailer?

I'd like to know as well. Every new vehicle I've ever bought came with a freshly put on inspection sticker from the month I bought it.
