I'm trying to understand here so no offense intended.

You went from a self bent 14/22 back to a 14/19 and gained 6-700rpm?

If so...it would be safe to say....a 14/19 +3 is not the same as a 14/22.

that makes no sense a 14/19 +3 is still a 14/22 it just has a different root angle from lets say a typical 15/20 or 15/22. prop measuring tool doesnt lie. and yeah he got a good 600 RPMs out of it lol.

none taken my take on it is when the revs increase so does the boost also the timing in the riva ecu but it definatley woke up not sure how the whole pitch thing works if a 15/20 is the same as 14/19+1 ? when i bend my props i use a prop gauge and it definatley changes things.

I'm not questioning the gauge....or the resulting numbers.

I am saying that a prop tweeked as per the how2...ie 1" from end...will result in different numbers than one bent from top to bottom.

    trust me...a 14/19+1 is not a 15/20

The resulting # means shit its only used for reference for the person tweeking the prop. More R's less trailing etc also leading edge also affects RPM's

A little T edge kick is also fun to experiment with.
