    250 & 300x?????

Soooo I'm already thinking about selling my ski for the supercharged, and I'm seeing 250 and 300 x's.... What's the difference? Bigger engine? More speed? What one should I be looking for??

    300x

    Better Supercharger (twin screw)
More Refined Engine Platform (Supercharger Belt Tensioner etc)
    Better Pump (160mm)

I think the trim and cruise control is new too?

100% no brainer, if you can afford the 300x get one, you'd love it

People that have owned the 250/260 comment that the 300x feels very different. More responsive, better handling. It feels lighter and turns sharper. Some like the change, some don't.

I'm sure they guys that have owned both will comment soon.

For me, I come from the STX-R, so I was shocked at how nimble the 300x felt, I really didn't expect it.

I run both, in terms of outright performance and power, the 300 excels but personally i feel the 250 more stable and feels more planted.
Maybe that's just because I've done over 150hrs on the 250 and feel more confident on it, I've only done about 20hrs on the 300 and in truth full throttle in the chop scares the s**t out of me. Also having a big off in chop on the 300 doesn't help. 6months later and still limping on my ankle.

My 07' ultra has a few things done to it with over 200 reliable hours and a friend bought a new 300 and he pulls on me stock. The 300 is sick. I would buy another 250 or 260 if I found a deal but my next ski will be a 300

The 260 does feel more stable and tracks better in the rough but in saying that if you haven't ridden both it wouldn't matter as it won't influence your decision. Overall the 300x is the better ski and that's what I'd be buying if I had to choose. Good luck
