i'm sorry just a bit confused, when the ski is cold does it start or just crank?
my 650 cranks alot before it starts, you gotta remember these things are over 20 years old. i installed a primer to pump some extra gas into the carb when starting cold, if you dont already have a primer you can just remove the air filter and pour a bit of gas down the carb.. that always does the trick for me

when it's cold it fires right up, then it seems like it's flooded out maybe.

hmm never heard of this happening..
not to drag you away from Greenhulk but if you havent already noticed theres a lack of stand up ski knowledge around here.
when i have a stand up question i go to X-h20, its similar to GH just completly focused on stand ups. GH will always be my home though!
