I am not a brp engineer but I bet its bleeds any air and some water psi
too much water psi can damage the core and air trapped in the IC does not help efficiency

I would say you are incorrect according to the BRP service bulletin. It allows the intercooler to be completely flushed when using the ski in saltwater.

That's exactly what they want you to think! BRP is trying to cover their ass due to them installing shitty intercoolers in these ski's. These coolers are blowing out in fresh water ski's with low hours also.

I ride in salt water and when I flush, I use Salt-away and they recommend that if you can, you don't flush the treated water out if you can help it. But a low point drain empties the IC, thus fucking that plan.

Exactly why I didn't buy one. Started seeing too many IC leaks while checking out the 4-tec forum and stewed me away. Sure not a wide spread deal, but with me, I might bought a faulty one.
