    Siphon

    can sumbody shoe me a pic of the siphon? i confused if its the same as the intermidiate shaft sealant.

    do you mean stock syphon in hull of 1300r????

    my mechanic told me that water was enteriny by the shaft sealant r the syphon...and i dotn kno what it looks like

    kaz can you ask him if he means the shaft tunnel....
    the stock syphon picks up the water from in the hull just a bit behind the PTO cylinder under and to one side of the coupler,its the white plastic bit that looks this pic below....
    can you see the water comming through into the hull....
    can you post pic of water breached area...

    salty, whats the point of the siphon, if ive got a rule 500gph pump ?

    Do i still need it, or can i use the through hull for my jetworks ?

    Syphon is used to remove water from hull, if you have a pump its not really needed. Yes, you can use for jetworks if you wish. If you have an 85mm nozzle you might as well remove the syphon tube from the nozzle as well for a small RPM gain.

    Sounds like a cracked pump tunnel to me.

    nope, 4 layers of carbon fibre sheeting, epoxy based resin

    befor i do any mods.
