Cooling tricks on tuned pipe (951)

So I've been reading here and there about how to get the most of a (947) white pipe. Found very good info. Yesterday was looking throug some pictures of a members XP and notice he installed a 90 degree fitting with a jet on the head pipe near the exh manifold and other on the stinger area also with a jett. I know that when using an ECWI this is done, but can this be done without using the ECWI?? What are the gains, and Is it hard to drill through the pipe?? Another thing , how the jetworks water valves works?

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi there Jim.
Is hard jetting the tuned pipe worth the try on a rec ski ?? This mod it can only be done when using an ECWI?. Other thing on the pictures I saw the exhaust manifold was fully ported. I know that when using the white pipe matching the mani to the pipe it's a plus but porting the mani is it a good improve? Also wanted to konw how the jetwork water valve works.

Sorry for the ignorance I just want to know so when i start my build decide if I do it or not.

    Cheers and thanks to all.

The jetworks power valve allows water to run in a stinger and only allows.the water to pass thru when you get to a certain rpm there adjustable just tight the valve and it raises the rpms before it allows water thry, I have a simikar setup on my 800hx and I have the watervalve set for around 3000 roms, so that exvess water isnt steadily pumped into the waterbox at idle and low speeds cause that lag for the water to clear the box, we idle for 10 minutes at the river where we ride and it woyld big for a few seconds after ling idke nowbits dead on I can idle all day long and get instance throttle response

Im curious to to what jet sizes there using, theres a spot on the tail of the chamber to drill and tap for that stinger jet,im also buildn a 951 hx with white pipe
