    Wax on, wax wait...

I always wax my rxp after riding (3M from Academy), and this last time I left the wax on for two days... and no, it wasn't difficult to remove. It shed water unusually well today. I went for a tuning ride (@1hr), and the water spots are significantly less pronounced than in the past.
Has anyone else tried this? The closest lake has very dirty water and will cover a boat/pwc with a grimy brown, spotty nastiness in a few minutes. I'm going to clean it then rewax, let it sit for a few days and see if I get the same results. Anything that helps keep her clean is well worth it!

I have never tried this, the lake I ride on is also very dirty and I started taking a wet towel in a plastic trash bag so it stays wet and a dry towel so I can wipe the ski off after riding,so im interested in hearing how it turns out for you. I do wax my ski but never tried that. The stuff I use they dont make anymore so the last place I seen it I bought a few cans, its called astro shield its a glaze not wax,but it cleans everything off, water spots and small scratches.I been using it on my cars and motorcycles for years and love it. Let me know how your experiment turns out.

You can use a mix of vinegar and water or get a cleaner wax, I take a wet towel in a plastic trash bag so it stays wet with me when I go to the lake to ride just leave it in my truck so when im done riding I just wipe the ski off with the wet towel and then dry with a dry towel, the one lake I ride on has very dirty water so using the wet towel is nice when I go to that lake, never have water spots again.
