    Moving the abient temp sensor to...

    If i move the outside air temp sensor to the engine compartment in a lucretive area would it work or read temps higher than 105?

    The IAT needs to be after the intercooler in the air flow. Relocating the IAT as a tuning method is not a good idea.

    Andy, I think he is referring to the outside air temp sensor located up front. (environmental temp)
    I believe you could if you wanted to measure inside the hull temps.

    You could change the reading to celcius to improve range.

    You may be right. Lots of the stuff I mess with has the Ambient Air Temp sensor in the air intake Cold Air Intake snorkel.
