    Kawasaki Ultra 250x 08 Problem FI PrET

    Hello my name's Riccardo and I'm from Italy, I've an ultra250x but when I start engine on display I see: PrET, there is a buzzer that sounds continuously with a red light on. I'm no expert at all, today was very hot here, the other day I tried my jet ski and it worked perfectly, today as turn it on is hard to accelerate and goes in prtoection. I don't know what is the problem, I've also the manual instructions and I've searched for PrET but I don't understand anything. Please give me a valid response for fix it. Thanks in advance.

    PrEt which indicates Charging Temperature Sensor.

    Recommended by WAZ - Buy the R & D super charger temp sensor module.....
    it will stop this from happening. I assume the air temp is hot at the moment in your area

    check the air temp sensor on the intercooler. if its plugged in or ohms test it

    yep all of above some give problems some dont, more so with pulley kits installed. located on the rear of the intercooler on the s/c outlet side

    But on the site: R & D I found only Temperature Sensor Interfacer. Is that? Because Temp Sensor Module there isn't.

    yes thats it, check and test yours then either buy the interfacer or buy a new sensor the test is listed on the links on 250xtech

    Did you mod the intercooler? Have you checked the hoses coming out of the jet pump? You should see three, the furthest one to starboard supplies cool water to the intercooler.
    I had a similar issue with mine, but I got F1 then limp mode. A quick check revealed the supply hose from the jet pump had become disconnected and the intercooler was overheating. A $1 hose clamp fixed the problem.
