I used the Riva thru hull. My good friend works for BRP as a design engineer/mechanic. He had to make a few modifications to split the water flow properly and get the proper spot for the exhaust to exit. It sounds awesome and is faster out of the hole.

Not really. I have a short video of him cutting thru the hull.
He started out by removing the resinator. Next he had to cut a piece of the resinator hose about 7" long (2 3/4") to add to the aluminum pipe that was shipped to me. It turns out that there has to be a curve to get the outlet to the flatest part of the hull in the rear left section above water. Next he t-eed off the water supply (lower hose not the one on top) and used a smaller supply valve in the new pipe to use less water for cooling. He said if you use the supplied valve you might not get enough cooling to the main exhaust component. Last he used a very high quality loctite black cement on the outlet (both sides) and torqued everything down. I replaced all the clamps with new stainless ones. It was 50 bucks but worth it to avoid failures. I can take pictures later this week or when you plan on doing the job. It was worth it. It sounds great and is truly faster.
