RXT Oil Leaking from Somewhere - please help?!

I bought a pair of RXT's with low hours (24). One of them is leaking oil bad and I have followed the posts on here and still can't find the source. I have checked the cap, the oil filter area, the dip stick and the PTO area...no luck. If I fill the ski up with oil it will run perfectly with no performance issues whatsoever...when I check the oil after an hour or so it's down 1/2 a quart easy...and it's all in the hull.

I have hooked it up to the hose and let it run for a minute and there are no signs anywhere. From what I've read (with that much oil leaking0 more than likely its at the driveshaft but how can I know for sure? I hate to pull out the drive shaft only to find out that's not where the oil is leaking from.

Any other tips or suggestions would be great - btw RPM's running right at 8050 wot.

There is a dye they sell at advance auto that u put in the oil and make it super easy to locate a leak

Dry the rubber boot where the drive shaft enters the PTO. There may be a rip in it that could shed oil quickly. Also want to make sure the drive shaft is set properly in the bearing.

PTO seal is most likely the problem. I had the same, doesn't leak at rest or on the hose, but on the water it pours out!

Order both Oetiker clamps to go with it, don't use a standard worm clamp.

So do I have to take the supercharger off to access that boot? I can't get my hand down under it even after taking off the hoses.

Not only does the supercharger need to out so does the pump and driveshaft. There are several O-rings and seals in the pto seal that need replacing as well as the rubber bumper on the driveshaft. To complete the repair, re-align the engine to pump.

It's either that seal or your oil cooler.
I've seen skis leak from both.

Update - so I cleaned out the hull - refilled engine with oil - placed a oil catch pad directly under the driveshaft boot and then rode the ski. Ski rode great - came back in and no oil on the pad but bottom of the hull had about a half quart...still no idea where it's coming from since none was on the pad under the pto...
