    2010 rxtx 260 temperature problem

I took my ski out for the first time after buying it and having the driveshaft replaced. After riding it a little bit and getting used to it I noticed a temperature on the dash that kept bouncing around. I attached pictures of it. At first the temperatures would bounce between 200-400 and when in neutral there was no temp displayed. Later that day I noticed idling it would stay between 0-30 and once it went down to 0 it would jump up to 350. Can anyone explain what this temperature is and why it keeps jumping around?

Hey bro, I think the degrees you are looking at is your compass........from what I can see in your pics, the only temps I see are the lake water temp and two pics read 64 and one reads 66. The only thing that confuses me is if you really saw 400 degrees?

So in the pics the 0 degrees 15 and 125 are compass readings? I feel stupid but that would explain jumping from 0 to 360 ish

Yes sir. Take a look right to the left of the numbers. You will see N for north which would also be 0 degrees etc....

Dang that's really confusing for someone that just notices that. I saw the directions but dint think you'd really know the exact degrees. Thanks for your help. Is tere any way to change the display to show something else?

Temp, speed, rpm, clock, max speed & rpm,etc... You can also do race times.
    A manual would really help
Hit mode button, go to display, then cycle.

If you saw 400 it's not degrees.. but yea, if it was 360 or less it would be.

yep def compass. That caught me out the first time I took my ski out went up to like 300 so turned around and went to 50. Few more turns and decided it must be compass.
Agreed it is confusing. They should label it better.
