    just bought 1995 750 SLT

I just bought a 1995 750 slt from the original owner, all original and very little use. I've read about replacing the fuel pump with a triple output along with the hoses. It's been recomended that I remove the oil pump and go pre mix (40:1) and remove the auto coc valve. What is the function of this valve? Are there any other tips to enhance the reliability of this machine?
Is there someplace to send the MFD for repair? I was told it did'nt work, if in fact it comes down to the MFD being the problem.
Any insight on this machine is appreciated.
    Thanks

The 1995's do not have the auto coc$ valve. Look in the tech section for the tripple output fuel pump diagram. Pre mixing is cheap insurance. There is a 1/4 amp fuse in the electrical box for the MFD check it then check for power and ground at the MFD. Do you have a manual?

Did you find the triple fuel pump install diagram in the tech section? In the manual you should have the electrical schematic to check the MFD fuse and for power and ground.

Thanks for all the help. I just bought a pentagon fuel pump. The drawings are a great help. I see there's a restrictor in the return line what size is the opening? Do I just remove the fuel rail and scrap it?

With the triple outlet install you leave the restrictor. (.018") There is no fuel rail they are conected with tubing.

Make sure you leave the restrictor in the return line.
