    - Need 1 headbolt for 1200 carby

    Hi Gang,
Anybody got a single (1) headbolt laying around in your parts boxes you can sell me?

It's for a red domestic 1200 engine. On my Rio, the 1200 came partially disassembled... the center cylinder had been pulled... and I'm one headbolt short. It's the carb'ed two-piece head/cap setup... where the headbolts all have the Torx heads on them.

Here's one... but it's $10 for a single bolt and I was hoping someone could offer up one cheaper.

I could buy a stainless one at the hardware store... but I'd prefer to know I have matching grade/spec bolts for this application.

    Thanks!

I have never seen those on a Polaris motor. I have either seen a torx head or the small hex head.

    D'OH!

Bryan... you are right! They are Torx head bolts. For the life of me I convinced myself they were allen head, but they are not.

Thanks for setting me straight. I need 1 (one) Torx-head head bolt for my 1200.

    Cheers!
