    Mildew stains on cover

Usually I'll throw the cover in a tub, fill with water, add bleach and soak. This time I didn't have any bleach on hand...but I do have a pool filled with chlorinated water. Letting it soak a couple days then I'll rinse.

I picked up a bottle of
    http://www.starbrite.com/item/waterp...ategory_id=558
and applied per instructions. Currently raining, watching rain drops slide off like water off a duck's back!

Watch your covers after applying water proofing. I did it years ago on a set of covers. Made them hard and would tear easily..

If anything that Star Brite made it softer. Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't use the starbrite brand. It was 303 if I recall correctly.. I may put my hands on some of the starbrite stuff and give it a shot..

Buy it by the gallon, much cheaper.

Cool.. Did you just apply it with the cover on the ski?

I covered the ski with plastic then installed the cover. I cut the plastic large enough to allow it to hang well over. I started at the top working 24" squares. At the time West Marine only had the 22oz spray bottle. That was barely enough to cover.
