    lambda sensor location 300x

hi everybody its been a while, hope all has been well? I haven't touched my ski in such a long time now have been too involved in the drag racing scene now but finally got my ass into gear again and wish to finish off my ski. any idea where those who ARE using a sensor, where is the best place to tap in? I was thinking it may be somewhere near the outlet b4 the filter? (pc wont let me jump down a line here pressing enter for some reason) Cheers

The flat area on the side of the drop pipe is the only area to safely tap as there is no jacket there.

If it was me I'd be using the plate made by GH Member ImpactSportsTV. Shoot Wayne an email, I'm sure he'll be able to tell you more. It goes between the headers and top pipe. That sounds like it would be the longest lasting position. It will only pick up the exhaust from two pipes but that should be fine. I'd use it myself but have decided not to mod things more than I already have at the moment.

    Cheers, Mal.
