F-cove has been re-opened but a friend of mine went there and it was dead. Shortly after he found out why. He got out of his boat with his dog and was stopped by fish and wild life right away. They threatened him with a bunch of tickets. Apparently you can beach your boat there but you can't get out of your boat for any reason. You can't swim in the water, you can't tie up to other boats.... the list goes on. Basically defeats the whole purpose of going to have a good time. Stick to Tices.

Heard the same thing about F Cove from several people on different weekends.
Considering probably half the people who used to go to Tices don't have houses anymore, it's still hoppin'. Been there 3 weekends now, and lots of boats and skis.

I've been to fcove... no problems, cops come through, the idiots haven't returned so far so good..... you never could anchor there and stay below the high tide mark on the land and you'll be ok. The guidos have moved to treasure island...
