    Pro 785 Magneto stator coils
Red/Purple to Yellow: 0.6 ohms (Alternator coil - battery charging)
Red/Purple or Yellow to Black: Infinite/open/no connection
White/Yellow to Black: 210 ohms (Trigger coil)
    Blue/Red to Red/White: 22 ohms (Pulser coil)
    Red/White to Black: Infinite/open/no connection
    Red/White to Green/Red: 510 ohms (Exciter coil)

mine tested as fallows i just dont know what is good or bad readings

red purple to yellow was 0.6
red purple to black was open
red purple or yellow was both open as well
white yellow to black black was 218.2 ( i dont know what the range of good and bad is on this one)
blue/red to red white 22.7 ( dont know if that is good or bad) seems good ish to me

I would be looking for a bad connection in the wire line.

ok well let me know.. i have went as far as i can get up the two wires and nothing broken or ANYthing like that so i dont know i would like to know a forsure before i stick it inside the ski and one more

also i kinda halfway marked the position of the magneto on what angle it came out at i know it will change timing a small amount so i was just curious if i should aim for more towards the carbs or the pipes

ok i just tested over 12 - 750/780 and 785 stators and the gr/rd to red/wh they are all open none of them ohmed out so i would say Polaris printed something wrong in there test, two of them are BRAND NEW in the box still so i would say your GOOD all your other readings look GOOD too

When I get a chance I shall review the wiring diagrams for these stators.

Bob, are you saying there are only TWO coils in the stator for ignition purposes (Trigger coil and Pulser coil) and there simply is no Exciter coil in that stator?

    Keith ,
I'm not sure but that reading or test of those wires are wrong , I wonder if they meant gr/rd to rd/pur ??? i'll try that and see
