Trying to start new engine for first time after rebuild.

This motor was rebuilt, and is now back in the machine. As soon as I get the drive shaft bearings and all in place I will be ready to try to start it. What all do I need to do as far as the oil and coolant and all before I try to start it. What do I need to do to prime the system?

    Thanks guys.

Make sure your oil pump is bled and the lines are filled. Cranking the engine will pump fuel to the carbs.

Is it a MSX 140 or 110/150 you are working with?

Then disregard my comment about bleeding oil lines. That would apply to a 2 stroke. I know Jack Squat about the Weber motors other than they cost a fortune to fix.

Well its all together, I am going to fill the fluids and see if it turns over, with the plugs out. I will do that for a little bit to let the oil circulate, then try to fire it up. Any thing I should do first??
