    Advice on [email protected] please

Hi, I'm considering the purchase of (2) 2003 SeaDoo GTI (3-seaters) with Triton trailer the price is $6400. They have fairly low hours. I'd appreciate any opinions on the ski's or price and I also want to know how big a deal it is that they are not fuel injected. A dealer told me you have to spend hundreds of dollars at the start of every season if your ski is carbureted, is that true?

NO that is not true! By any means ... unless you do not do some simple & proper maintenance for storage. If you follow the info & guides on this forum and do the simple steps on winter rising your ski, you will have only some minor things to do when the season starts. Your dealer thinks that you might be one of those users that ski all season & just put it away ... then in spring have to have the dealer prep & make ready the ski ... which will require carb cleaning & in some cases adjusting and more etc. Then he will charge you a few hundred bucks, however it does not have to be that way. I have both carb & fuel injected skis no issues yet and no big seasonal start-up concerns. Good Luck

+1 All you have to do is follow the winterization instruction in the "How to" section and you'll be good to go come the start of the following year. Sure there will be little things like replacing the spark plugs etc etc. But it'll cost you maybe $20 to do it yourself. It's very easy also, even for someone who's brandnew to ski's, thats exactly how I got started into jet ski's was learning how to winterize my parents two-stroke haha

That seems to be pretty expensive for 10 year old 2 stroke skis.
