    Wanting to get a wetsuit

I'm thinking about getting a wetsuit so I can start the riding season a bit early. I ride in coastal NC but not in the ocean. Fresh water back behind the outer banks. I was just looking at the overtons catalog that came in the mail today and they have several types but They all seem to be for very fit folks. I have a bit of the middle age sag and and fairly short at 5'5". With this being said if I bought a suit that would allow me to breath I would have material all bunched up at the wrists and ankles not to mention probably a bit lose where the backside meets the seat. Anyone know of a comapny that might make a wetsuit that would be better at fitting my round form? Thanks for any advice, Karl

IF you dont mind spending a bit more, buy a dry suit. they are not form fitting and offer much more warmth. you can wear street clothes underneath and they will be totally dry when done riding.

Any dive shop can special order you a wet suit to fit but you, but they aren't cheap.

    Blackhardt,

I agree with RXP Steve. I'd rather have a dry suit instead of the wet suit I have. I'd get a full face helmet and ski year round.

Thanks folks. It may not be this spring but I'm sure I'll have one or the other by fall so I can keep riding late into the fall.
