NY/Statue of Liberty "End of Season" ride

Myself and few others from NJ/NY are going to be riding from Sandy Hook NJ, under the Verrazano Bridge, past the Statue of Liberty and up the Huson around NYC. It s/b a great time; gas is available. This Sunday (11/4) around 9am - weather permitting. There are 7 people going so far. All are welcome.
    Anyone else?

    -Brendan

Brendan, i forgot to ask you in the messages before, where are you guys launching from?

Maybe i'll drive my ski and trailer to jersey and launch with you guys instead of taking the long lonely ride in the ocean by myself from long island... i've done it before a few times, but def more fun to be with other people.

So let me know what town/ launch ramp you will be using to launch.

Shib: I think somewhere in Oceanport, N.J. (Garden State Pkw- exit 109) I am still waiting for details from Howard (Rab1). I will let you know later today.

Brendan e-mailed me that Sunday is lookin iffy (weather-wise?)... i'm available saturday as well, and i have a buddy in jersey that wants to ride on Saturday. i haven't mentioned sunday to him yet, but if sunday is not good and falls thru, you can keep your mind open for saturday.... saturday does look to be the warmer of the two days by a little.

    Shibby,

Thanks for posting this on sea-doo.net. Everything has been good been since we last rode together. Ive been out on the hudson 3 or 4 times since we last rode. But its always fun to go out with a crew.

Where is this group going out from? I know the Sandy Hook area pretty well. I grew up not far from there.

Sorry - I didn't read everything. Where abouts in oceanport. Funny - I worked in oceanport for about 5 years (close to the track), but can't remember where the marinas are.

    sO!?!?!?

did you guys go riding sunday or what? i went riding saturday was amazing. hauled ass for 180 miles up to Albany on the hudson river. Was a sheet of glass, virgin water just tearin ass up and down the river. cut it damnnnn close for a gas stop at one point tho was enjoyable and a pleasant change from ocean riding... pristine virgin water riding side by side with me, my dad on a 04 SC, and VMAN on another RXT.

forget my camera in the car tho
