1996 Seadoo GTX hard to start

Took the ski out today and before I took it off the trailer tried to start it and I got nothing, tried till the battery died. gas was on an held the gas at full throttle. Got it home charged the battery and a few cranks later got her going. After she runs for a littlebit and gets cleaned out it starts easy. But last time on the water I shut it down after running for 30 mins and it wouldn't start up at all, had to get a tow back to the ramp. What is the issue?!! Thanks,Greg

Sounds like fuel pump on carb not working good. Maybe small plastic diaphams just worn or maybe cracked or kinked. Need to rebuild carbs with new kits. Before rebuild of carbs, check compression. Should be around 150 psi.

Do you still have the original fuel lines? My '97 GTX had similar issues until I replaced the fuel lines.
