    1996 SLTX question

So I'm rebuilding the top end. After I removed the cylinders, I can see the crankshaft. Everything looks ok. The question I have is under the PTO cylinder the oil in the case has a milky gray color to it. Normal? Also while I've got stripped down this far is there any other suggestions (reeds, etc)?

Grayish milky oil? that would suggest water has gotten into the oil....no not normal. clean it out. I would inspect the reeds possibly even replace with high performance ones.

If its milky oil, for me personally I would tear it down completely and inspect everything.
