    2012 rxp-x leaking intercooler

Took my 12 rxp-x out this a.m. after sitting idle for a month and she seemed down about 150 to 200 rpm...seemed strange. Oil level checked out, new plugs...same thing. 2008 ski still making rpm so ruled out weather and temp. Popped off the intercooler to TB hose and ran the ski on the hose...when I rev it up some water droplets and a light mist spit out. I guess add me to the list of leaky intercoolers, right? I can't imagine it's just condensation. Ski has 31 hours and all fresh water. I will bring back to dealer for warranty but will be looking for a 2008-2011 old style t-x or p-x intercooler.

I've had a couple 2011 tx's with crap inner coolers and I guess that seadoo probably carried the crap coolers into 2012 or atleast until there supply ran out.
Sucks that they changed a good thing only to get a bad rep...
Trying to save a dollar is going to cost them again.

Many we changed that was damaged had water on then when we removed them.

But u really need buds or data logger to check it.

It's crazy how many inter coolers have gone bad on the 2012 rxp/rxts. We are just a small bunch here and seems to be a lot of failures. Seadoo has poor quality control, especially such an important component that can cause major engine damage if not addressed.

I got the dealer to install a new one with the outlet mod even though my rxp was out of warranty. My also went bad from storage. Warm climate here in Miami so nothing to winterize

They just changed my intercooler. 40 hours when I noticed a problem. dealer did the non-mandatory recall on it which included the by-pass hose. Thank u BigDaddy for info.
