2004 RXP Water leak front cover

I have water leaking in the cable grommet (293720070) under the front cover. Can anyone tell me if this grommet and the bellow grommet (293720042) are suppose to be connected, or do they just press together when the cover is shut. Mine is separated and act as two separate parts. The cable grommet travels up when the hood is opened but the bellow grommet stays put and doesn't extend. If I rid without water coming over the front end, it stays dry inside, as soon as I get water over the front in, a lot of water comes in.

I think its suppose to be 1 piece.
    I'm not 100% sure.
Take a water hose to the front of your ski and double check the leaking area.

There suppose to be two separate pieces and should separate when lid is opened. Also will leak water around main hood seal if front bucket is not in there.

Looks like it may be the grommet. The lower seal (baffle) seal looks like it is deformed and the two parts are not connecting well.
