Saltwater and sand kill... GP1200R pumps shot.

Looks like the previous owner left ski beached and sucked up sand. Left the ski in salt water too. Pump was shot. Lots of cavitation, went no wheres and rev'd high RPM's.

The fix? High output pump and driveshaft.

If the splines on the shaft are not rounded or worn to badly, then it is reuseable.

Replace the pump with a HO. If you get an HO, then you need a Solas Dynafly 13/19 with a stock GPR. If you stick with the old pump style, then you need a Solas Concorde 13/19. It goes with out saying that you will need new seals and should get new bearings.

It also would not hurt to get a rebuilt wear ring. The rebuilt ones IMHO are better than the new ones.

I got a whole pump of a HO. It comes with the wear ring housing, the pump, driveshaft, impeller and the nozzle. I'll post pictures of the splines as I think they're a little worn.
