    prop bending techniques

Hi guy's. Just wondering... For those who bend their props, what kind of Tools are you using? .Do you heat the prop at the base to get it to bend easyier? I'm askig this question cause I just upgraded from a x-charger to a riva xx and feel like I need to add a good 3mm to my pitch as it just hits the rev limiter very fast.

+1. Prop tool, adjustable wrench and I use a vernier to measure each edge(on a flat surface). Oh ya, some patience!!! Go slow, it's easy to go over bend.

That's what I was using but those props are hard as hell to bend, That's the reason I was looking for another way to do it and since i'm in Canada it is kind of expensive to ship it to speedfreeks or impros.

hey andy just get a big cresent wrench and install your prop tool in a vise, put your prop on it and bend the back 1.5-2in trailing edge up or down depending on what you want your rpms to do. i use a prop gauge but you can also measure each blade as a reference. my 15\20 should be here tonight so i will put a vid together on how i do it maybe it will help

So you bend the whole blade from the center to the outside on the trailing side?
